CAFE’s Pull-up Pantry
CAFE has partnered with Gleaners Food Bank to provide a pull-up pantry for Far Eastside residents. Food boxes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Simply drive up to our office 8902 E 38th St, during the hours of 2 pm-5 pm and one of our staff members will place a food box directly into your car. Food boxes are limited and on a first come first serve basis.
Gleaners, Indy Hunger Network, and 913 Sports
Partnering on delivery service. If you know someone who cannot access a food pantry because they are seniors, pregnant, immunocompromised, or have been asked to stay home by a physician, this program will deliver a box of emergency food to their homes (in Marion County). To request a food delivery, clients can text “Gleaners” to 55433 or call 317-742-9111.
SNAP
Pending further direction from the federal government, the State of Indiana (FSSA) is exempting able-bodied adults without dependents so that SNAP (food stamp) benefits will continue. Individuals who had previously timed out of benefits can apply and should be approved.
