Mt. Carmel Community Academy is a licensed child care center and a Paths to Quality Participant. Our mission is to reach all children through direct efforts; making a creative and involved atmosphere by extending our knowledge and hearts to teach children in a loving and safe environment. The teachers and staff pledge not only to enrich their lives by faith but allowing them to learn, play and explore by introducing them to an appropriate developmental setting.
Enrolling infants starting at 6 weeks of age, 1yr-5yrs in our pre-school program and 6yrs-12yrs in our afterschool and summer program.

Curriculum
MCCA uses the Creative Curriculum Program. Children are taught to actively learn through exploration. This program creates hands-on, real-life, and discovery concepts through play and exploration.
Teachers
Our Teachers are First Aid, CPR and Universal Precautions trained. Drug Tested, Sexual Registry Checked and Developmental Practices Skills and Indiana Foundations – Certified.
All Lead teachers are credentialed with CDA or higher. It is our teachers’ main focus to ensure that all students meet and surpass the desired learning objectives using their skills and educational experiences. All teachers receive a minimum of 20 clock hours of professional development and training annually.

Indy Summer Learning Labs
A five (5) week free or low-cost Summer Academic Enrichment Program for Marion County Students entering grades 1 – 9 in the fall of 2023. Starting June 12 – July 15, 2023. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.
