eMerge Ministry

WHO WE ARE

eMerge is a growing community of college students, young professionals, single parents and young couples who are evolving into the disciples and leaders GOD has called them to be and, merging their personal faith journey with the mission and vision of Mt. Carmel Church.

WHY WE EXIST

Pastor Williams desires to reach out to people of all ages, and has a special place in his heart for young adults. As a large part of our congregation reflects ages 20-40, Pastor wants to ensure that the young adults of our ministry are actively involved and play an integral role in our church. YAM is not an effort to create separatism or schisms in our church body, but an opportunity for our young adults to exercise leadership and involvement in our ministry. YAM contributes to the unity and integration of all age groups and generations, highlighting a population that has a large representation here at Mt. Carmel.

We believe that our mission is to eMerge as a community within Mt Carmel Church that is:

  • SNL (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE)* – Networking, Lite Fare, and Contemporary Worship
  • eGROUPS* – Relevant teaching series that brings the BIBLE into REAL LIFE situations
  • ePro Workshops – Professional development trainings in Finances, Career Advancement, etc..
  • QUARTERLY SATURDAYS 9AM-12N (COMING 2017)
  • eMerge Sundays – Worship experience with eMerging leaders serving, singing, and sermonizing

Health and Wellness

Our Mission:  To provide the congregation and community with beneficial information & tools that encourages individuals to continually lead a healthy lifestyle. We will meet medical needs that may arise during the worship service.

Hospitality/Greeters

Our Mission:  To welcome every visitor and member to the house of God. To prepare the hearts of seekers by welcoming everyone to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with a smile, a warm handshake, a positive attitude, and the love of God.
Meeting Time:  2nd Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Men’s

Our Mission:  To build on our Christian foundation by studying the word of God, uniting the men of the Church, and introducing others to the word of God. To provide outreach to the community, our peers, and younger brothers. To foster the Gospel values in our society, promoting the dignity of the human person, the importance of the family, and the common good of our society so that our nation may continue to be transformed by the saving power of Jesus.
Meeting time: Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the Intake Room.

Parking Lot

Our Mission: To display the spiritual gifts of helps, mercy, hospitality, exhortation and service in assisting our members and visitors to safely enter and exit our parking lot.

Prayer Warriors

Our Mission: To foster prayer partnership with new members of our congregation.

Ushers

Our mission: To be a vehicle through which the Holy Spirit can work to create an atmosphere wherein those entering the House of the Lord may feel welcomed and to make sure that those who worship at our church have every convenience made available to them.  Our job is to meet every proper need of the worshipper during the worship experience.
Senior Usher Ministry
Meeting Time: 2nd Tuesday every other month at 6:00 p.m.

Women’s

Our Mission: To empower and unite Christian women by the word of God for the purpose of Mentoring, Evangelizing, Educating, and Supporting females of all ages.
